and relaxed photographs.

What to expect from your Portrait session
A session can take place either in your home or in the my studio. A home visit can make for a more relaxed atmosphere and natural light can often be used. Children benefit from the stimulation of being in a studio with lights.
Please talk with me about what you want from your final images. I want you to feel comfortable and happy for me to capturing those more intimate expressions.
A session may take up to an hour although this can vary greatly depending on the children, adults or pets being photographed.
Being a mum myself I know that children, especially toddlers and babies, don't run to a timetable.
Keep clothing simple. The more colourful and patterned clothing is, the more it detracts from expressions.
If you are having pregnancy photographs taken, make sure not to wear tight underwear or clothing for 12 hours beforehand as these can leave marks over your bump. I will talk to you about how to dress yourself at the beginning of the session.
What happens after the Photographs are taken?
Once I've finished taking photographs, I will download them onto my computer. They will then be enhanced, similar to the process that used to take place in a darkroom.
You will be able to see your images 3 or 4 days later in a password-protected online gallery. This can allow your whole family to view the photos in the comfort of your own home and make your decisions about buying and how to display your photographs with no pressure.
A Professional Family Portrait will be worth its weight in gold in years to come. Displayed proudly, as your family grows, you'll have exceptional memories to return to time and time again.
